2025 SLO-CDS Wine Country Dressage Show
ï‚· May 3 & 4, 2025 at Twin Rivers Ranch
ï‚· John updated us that Eric Grimm has been hired as Manager and Secretary. Eric is from the Pomona
area and will be accompanied by his wife who will also assist at the show.
ï‚· Doris North was hired as TD.
ï‚· The search for the judge is continuing. Only one judge will be hired, unless the volume of entries
supports the need for a second judge.
Amelia Newcomb Clinic
ï‚· Stacie reported that the committee is working with Amelia, and that a one-day clinic is tentatively
scheduled for Saturday November 2, 2024 at Eastside Farms Equestrian Center in Santa Maria.
ï‚· There will be 8 45-minute spots available in the clinic with a 15 minute break between each ride and a
30 minute lunch. The cost will be $287.50 per ride. Auditors will also be able to purchase spots.
ï‚· Stacie and the committee will be signing the contract soon. They still need to ascertain that the deposit
is refundable, and what are the terms of cancellation. Amelia has confirmed that in case of rain, the
clinic will be rescheduled. 5 of the 8 sports are still available for riders. Payment in full is required to hold your spot. Riders whoneed to cancel will receive a refund if their spot is filled by another paid rider. Please contact Stacie if
you would like to secure your spot.
Sponsorship
ï‚· 2025 Sponsorship Committee Members are needed to keep our chapter running. Please consider
joining the Committee or donating to SLO-CDS.
